A bit of painting today i am almost finished the Eddie Stobart painting

Information Graphics Leaflet Design

Been thinking about leaflet design for Borders College Art Exhibition, jotting them down here as i worked them out while driving home and i am worried i forget them, the Leaflet will be in the shape of a large Panel Van, on one side will have Borders college Logo (in fact might even use photographs of Borders college Minibus) maybe paint them and put lettering in, the full details of the event will be on both sides of the Van or Minibus and i will more than likely use padding inbetween the outlines of the vehicle ,not sure how i am going to do the lettering on the card ,thinking about making it big at first as it could be shrunk inorder to be more cost efficient.Ithink this is a simple and interesting idea ,and feel it will be eyecatching , but it has to be clear .
 Also thought about a Train,Plane , Helicopter shaped invite card but think the van seems more relevant since borders college has similar looking vehicle, Space shuttle even maybe not .

More Painting In Oils

Finally got a proper Black without using Black, offcourse you need properly dark colours ,and other thing i mustr remind myself is you just cant rush Oils or at least the way i have been painting i cant, as it needs few days to dry, anyway someone seen the Truck painting on Facebook and is buying it ,which is good news as i felt a bit disheartened about it, but does go to show that i think it can take time for a painting to develop , or mature .

Finished my poster quite pleased with it i think it has impact it is simple and effective, only issue is i think i have missgivings about being humerous about Ginger abuse, as it is a real issue perhaps i might have been more serious about it if i had experienced it, or met people that have or parents of children who have commited suicide. Or perhaps it might help by lightening the issue by having a sense of humour and therefore telling people its ok to be ginger it doesnt matter,but offcourse its ok why tell someone the obvious not sure i have worked this issue out ,but i beleive the poster says love a ginger , but maybe should just love everyone .
