More painting

I thought i had finished this three years ago but decided i hadnt today and started trying to inprove it, i know its not great but it has a certain charm about it i think, i went over the yellow white bits and will detail in the wheels and trim and so on next, might look ok

More Oil Painting

Done a bit more with paint left over from doing the truck, always handy to be working on 2 or 3 for that reason

Painting Update

Having chosen to use oils had to leave this to let the paint dry, so after couple of weeks added bit more to the lettering of truck and went over some of the details with grey and dark aswell as White

 Oil Painting finding it hard work controlling the paint, its gonna take ages for this to sdry , going to go back to Acrylic next one or at least partly Oil or something

And Mercedes Benz Eddie Stobart truck, Acrylic and Oil on Canvas still a bit to do on that one, i am finding gradually i am swininging back to Oil it seems easier for me to get the paint down hard to explain, but i think it looks better aswell

Mini

Been working on the Mini, it was acrylic but now went over most of it with Oil hopefully for a better visual effect, i used teak oil with the paint as well on the red background, letting it dry then will probably touch up some of the glass and roof then it will be finished

Been working for past year or so mostly with acrylic , reasons being i think tthat acrylic is easier to work with , cleaner ,cheaper and with practise i was getting pleasing results with it offcourse it dries quick too ,but i might use more oil now or combination of both

Ford Cortina

Not sure if i like this , it was White and didnt look right now its yellow and doesnt look right, or does it. Maybe i should work in the colours or maybe just leave it the way it is not sure yet.

VW Prints

Made this up tonight, theese are prints of my paintings , they were sold a while ago,obviously this one is of a VW theme, i do Eddie Stobart themes aswell, they sell quickly normally, and there seems to be a big interest in VWs

Life Drawing, one of them is a bit heavy as i wasnt listening properly, quick drawing suits me thougfh so i am happy if we only get 5 minutes or so in  fact i prefer it that way,think my drawing might be bit lacking on the finer touches but if its speed thats needed i can do it, would like to do portraits at a Fair or Market or something perhaps with charcoal or Charcoal Pencils

There pretty much finished, have to say i am shocked at the results and not really sure what i am attempting to say , but i created those images and they mean someting and i find it hard to answer questions about them

The bottom image of the four is definately the most interesting and sensible one , i think the other three are a bit daft, i am not sure if i am trying to shock or entertain or maybe bit of both

Experimenting with all the variabilities ,there are many but looks like this is going to be final piece , would like to add the bars to the image if i can figure out how

Was going to mount it on the black textured card which i painted, but now might go for white card lets wait untill its try which will be a while

Made up some prints last night, using mostly recicleable materials

Always on the lookout for old frames and new ones aswell, even the broken ones last night i saved the hardboard emullsioned them, and will paint new images on them or maybe use charcoals or pastels

Me, i am watching me having done my self portrait, i find i am being watched by myself as instead of watching the telly i watch me on top of the fire so spend most of the evening looking at me which is interesting as i have done another self portrait which is behind me

Photography My Car

Did bit of research ,on internet ,read a blog about photographing cars professionally, very interesting, mostly composition, location, light and all that stuff which is similar to other types of art creation, painting and so on, so i tried making my own car look better ,obviously having my own car means i can position it in the way i want whereas photographing other peooples cars can be awkward although io tried that last week and shall include some of my attempts
